I'm Half black half white. I get the "what race are you?" question a lot. A lot of people guess and get it wrong. I've heard all kinds of stuff, and I could probably pass for almost anything. I've never really been anywhere short of LA, which I've been to on business on occasion. I'd love to go to Brazil, however. The setting and culture and people(read: Brazilian Girls) really appeal to me. I also have an interest in Japan and Europe. I'm not the going out type. Not that I have a big hang up on it, but I find that clubsand bars, don't really offer much more than noise and smoke. I can be quiet when I first meet people but as I get to know them I'll loose a bit of that shyness. I can be quite goofy at times and have been known to make a complete fool of myself to make someone else laugh. I have to admit that I am a bit of a band geek as I've been involved with different bands(marching band,concert band,jazz ensemble) since 5th grade. I listen too all types of music but I jazz is one of my favorites. Smooth jazz however is not something I like to listen to. I also read constantly and am a nightowl. I also like playing video and computer games. I am currently hooked on Guild Wars, World of Warcraft. Sims2, and Sims 3.

I fInally updated my picture... like I said, a few more wrinkles and grey hairs than the older picture (still up), but nearly twenty years have passed between pics. I don't know why, but it seems like I always look lik I have a glass eye when I try to take my own picture.

I've been given three good pieces of advice in my lifetime and I've tried to follow all three.

1 - Whenever possible use cash/avoid credit.

2 - Don't even think about marriage until you've gotten your life in order.

3 - Don't go steady. Date different people, get to know them, and over time narrow it down to someone who is a good match for you. (And don't sleep with any of them until you have narrowed it down to "the one".)

So, no, I am not looking for "the one". Or rather, I am looking for the one, but I'm not going to hop from steady girlfriend to steady girlfriend hoping that each one will be her. And, because I'm not a hippocrite, I have no problem if any of the women I date are dating other men in the hopes of narrowing down to the person who is right for them.

With a philosophy like that I'll probably end up dying alone. If that happens, it's fine by me. I live by my principles and if the rest of the world disagrees with them then that is their right.

I'm 23 years old, 6ft. 7in tall and i love to have fun. i play poker, and most sports. I was born in Orlando Florida and moved to Columbus in 1989. Family is very important to me. Within the last couple years I've lost both my Father and my Grand-Father. Friends are also very important to me. I have worked at a haunted attraction for the last six years. it is my greatest passion. in addition to going to school i would love to open a haunted house in the columbus area that stays open the entire year. my main character is a clown, but not like those ICP bastards, who i based off pictures of old fashioned bikers. i also have a few other characters ranging from an undead hillbilly, a LARGE mental patient who has a fixation with strawberry short cake. some of the characters have video's on youtube. i also belong to a group of haunted attraction workers, called Feature Creatures of Central Ohio. through the haunted house industry ive met some of the greatest people around. Each year we put on a convention called Mid West Haunters Convention, it happens in June.

In May 2009 I graduated from Medina Senior High School. Honors Diploma, National Honors Society kind of student. I spent most of my high school time sitting in rehearsals for nine ensembles: Symphony Band, Symphony Orchestra, StarDusters Jazz Ensemble, Marching Band, Pit Orchestra for Musicals and the big choir production Showtime, Contemporary Youth Orchestra, Cleveland Youth Wind Symphony, and Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra.

OK, the stats are about right, I'm 54,5'8 around 230, but like they all say, I carry it well.. I work out 3 to 4 days a week depending on how motivated I feel. I try to treat it as more of a hobby than an obsession. I figure at my age as long as I can keep the chest bigger than the belly I'm doing ok. Just bought a bicycle and looking for a riding buddy, but you have to promise not to laugh. It's been 30 years since I've ridden a bike and I look like Urkel on it.

Hmmm, they mention goals and aspirations (sounds like kid stuff). Getting out of bed without creaking is a good aspiration. I just try to be a better person today that I was yesterday with the help of the Lord. I am involved in my church. I volunteer at a free store the church runs in Reynoldsburg. It's something I'm passionate about. I became a Christian about 7 years ago and it's been difficult at times, but very rewarding. Don't worry though, I'm not going to preach, try to convert you or knock on your front door (unless we do the date thing). Faith is very personal and you have to accept others view points. But..yea..it would be nice to have someone to share it with.

Everyone always puts what they are looking for in a mate and I keep looking for the helpful list on here. It seems everyone is looking for the same thing. A nice person that won't embaress them in public (unless you can get a really good laugh out of it). No matter what you're looking for, you just have to keep an open mind because you never know who you'll meet in life and I firmly believe that when the right person walks into your life, you'll just know it. To me rap has absolutely no socially redeeming quality and I gave up my head banging days a long time ago. Ok...time for an addendum. I'm a big proponent of meeting sooner rather than later. Let's face it, you can type on here till your finger tips are numb but...not till you actually meet will you know if there's a spark and then you still won't be sure till that first kiss. I hate this part. I am a strong, motivated, intelligent girl. I think that I have a great sense of humor and love to laugh, although if you dont get my sarcasm then you probably will think that I'm mean. I beleive in working hard for what you want. I am a pretty crazy, fun person. I can be kind of quiet at first, it kinda depends on where you meet me. Once I warm up to you a little bit though you will get to know me. I am a confident and ambitious mother of two young daughters (4 & 5). I believe in doing what I love and creating a life that is inspiring and joyful. I love my day-to-day life and try to continually learn, grow and change. Sometimes this comes through active learning and sometimes it comes from sitting still. In relationships I am generally loyal, accepting, and supportive. I don't feel the need for others to hold the same values or beliefs as I do for me to appreciate them or enjoy them. That said, in my partnership, liberal political views, optimism and self-confidence are all must-haves. I am originally from Central Ohio and moved back about two years ago from New Mexico (lived in several other places in between the two). I do plan on leaving Ohio at some point. I'm a pretty easy going laid back type. Nothing much upsets, or excites me. The right person can bring out the soft, warm and fuzzy sentimental side of me, but overall I'm pretty well analytical vs. emotional. I especially love going to the Funny Bone Comedy Club at Easton, just saw John Pinette on August 20th, he had me laughing so hard I was crying and about peed myself LOL.

My family is important to me as are my two boys who the greatest thing to ever happen to me. I'm always up for trying new things at least once, as long as they're legal (ok some gray areas lol) but no matter who I'm with or what we are doing I try to make sure that person is having as good a time as I am. Some what of a clean freak but hey for most women that's a plus lol. I'm back on my weight lifting/elliptical trainer and weight loss plan, and in the past 4 weeks (as of 9/2/09) I have dropped over 20.2 pounds. Feel it's important to get back in shape and the exercise seems to help me feel much better mentally as well as physically.

I changed employers after 18 years, but still have the same boss.
I got 2 tattoos.
I visited my brother and his wife in San Rafael, California and my cousin and her daughter in Trinity, Florida. I went jet skiing and kayaking in Florida.
My son moved out and my daughter (OSU graduate of 2009) moved back home.
I repainted several rooms in my home and remodeled the kitchen. I've been watching too much HGTV.
I spent the year doing things I've been wanting to do.

My name is Ashley and I'm 24 years old. I have a 3-year-old daughter who lives with me half the time and with her dad the other half. I work 2 jobs: I work for my dad and uncle's company. I work shipping and receiving as well as normal production. Job number 2 is the billing for a company that repairs bent, cracked, and curbed rims. I also work in the shop and do body work on rims that have been curbed, when I have time. I also do birthday and wedding cakes on the side occasionally. I did my best friend's wedding cake last August and it was AMAZING! I love all of my jobs but would have to say my favorite is working around the rims and HighLine cars! I have a passion for cars and although I know enough to keep mine running, I'm always willing to learn more! I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty and my friends like to refer to me as a "greasemonkey" because the grease doesn't bother me and I'll even mess with my car at lunch.

I graduated from Columbus State Community College in December '08 with my Associates of Applied Sciences degree in Business Office Applications. I am now considering going back to school to get my bachelors in either Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering... I just can't decide which (and it's going to be awhile... letting my daughter grow a bit more first)! My dad is thrilled since he is an Engineer. I have spent my whole life (yes, all 24 years of it) in machine shops and honestly can't see myself working in any other field!

Last October I moved back to Gahanna (my hometown), just outside of Columbus. I live with my daughter in our 3-bedroom, 2.5 bath condo and it's absolutely perfect! The scenery is a nice change and the condo is beautiful too. It's a change living alone but I'm adjusting to it pretty well.
